Cellular Boost
Prevents Drought-Induced Cracking in Fruits and Vegetables
Cellular Boost is a liquid fertilizer that contains unique supplemental nutrients. These nutrients enable plants to vigorously grow chloroplast; thereby improving photosynthesis. The key elements in this product enhance the natural growth of strong cellular membranes in both fruits and vegetables. This product contains essential trace elements that support strong sturdy plant growth.
Efficacy
Effective at treating and preventing fruit cracking.
Effective at promoting cellular growth, photosynthesis.
Application
Use Cellular Boost to effectively prevent the cracking of fruit by adding 3.8 ml (3/4 tsp) of product with one gallon (1 gal) of water to properly dilute, unless otherwise specified in the table below. This product can also be used in other quantities during the plants fruiting cycle, respecting the dilution rate of 1:1,000 product to water. After dilution, irrigate the soil around the base of the plant or use as a foliar spray 2 - 3 times to prevent cracking on the fruit. Do not apply prior to excessive rains, since this may reduce product effectiveness.
Active Ingredients
Cellular Boost's active ingredients are calcium and the trace elements boron and molybdenum. Cellular Boost also contains trehalose, a natural sugar.
Safety & Environmental Info
This product is made from naturally derived ingredients. Appropriate land management practices should be used at all times with any fertilizer; this material should be prevented from entering public or private water supplies (including wells) and any lake, stream, or river.
Mode of Action
Cellular Boost supplies adequate calcium to enhance the rigidity of cell walls. Since physiological disorders are reduced, crops are able to produce larger quantities of uniform fruits. Trehalose is a natural sugar that dehydrates into a gel. Once absorbed in the plant, the cell organelles are held in place acting as a structural brace when writing and desiccation occurs, preventing cellular destruction. Upon rehydration, the plant regains normal cellular function, providing a resistance to fruit cracking, environmental damage, and harmful diseases.
