Biological mosquito control from Vegalab Crop Science, powered by Heterorhabditis megidis (live nematodes, 2.0% w/w). Mosquito BioControl targets Aedes, Culex and Anopheles mosquito larvae in standing water, and has been tested on Water reservoirs, Rice paddies, Drainage and Stagnant water.
Mode of action
Heterorhabditis megidis infective juveniles enter mosquito larvae through natural body openings and release symbiotic bacteria that cause fatal septicemia within 48 hours. Specific to mosquito and black-fly larvae — non-toxic to bees, fish, mammals and other beneficial organisms.
