Soil BioBoost is an inoculant that improves soil and stimulates crops. It also aids crops with decomposing insoluble soil minerals and makes nutrients for the plants readily available for quick intake. This product represents an alternative to the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers in agriculture.
Category: Soil Inoculants
Soil BioBoost can be applied either as a foliar spray or as a soil irrigant to any kind of crop. The recommended dilution rate for crops is 15 mL (1 tbs. or 3 tsp.) per one gallon (1 gal.) of water. After dilution, spray the product directly onto leaves or soil. Do not apply prior to excessive rains, since this may reduce product effectiveness. As a decomposer of livestock or dairy manure, use 37.9 mL (2 1/2 tbs.) of product with one gallon (1 gal.) of water to dilute Soil BioBoost. In area applications, use 18.3 oz to 33.3 oz per acre of land for foliar spray or 66.0 oz to 133.0 oz per acre of land to irrigate the soil.
Soil BioBoost’s main active ingredient is comprised of colonies of microorganisms (Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Pichia deserticola). As they are antagonistic microorganisms, their effects aremainly the natural production of antifungal and antibiotic elements that compete at the rhizosphere level with pathogens. This increases plantresistance to diseases.
Appropriate land management practices should be used at all times with any fertilizer; this material should be prevented from entering public or private water supplies (including wells) and any lake, stream, or river. This product is made from naturally derived ingredients and is non-toxic.
Soil BioBoost can be applied on both leaves and soil. The beneficial bacteria is also a plant growth promoter, as it decreases pathogen concentrations in plant roots, leading to increased plant vitality. It also forms bio-films, which are beneficial for the control of plant pathogens. This product can also be used as a fungicide for seed treatment. It competes with pathogenic fungal organisms. It does not affect humans or animals.
In field trials, soils treated with Soil BioBoost had higher electrical conductivity (EC) rates than other products tested. EC is an indicator of nutrient availability in soils; higher rates indicate higher contents of dissolved ions.
