Spread Boost is used as an adjuvant with any foliar pesticide, soil drench, or drip irrigation application. It improves the effectiveness of applications by reducing the surface tension of the water, increasing the adhesion of solid particles, reducing evaporation of the pesticide, and enhancing the penetration of some pesticides through the waxy layer of cuticle on a leaf surface, thus increasing the rate of penetration. Due to its ability to increase a product’s efficiency, it can reduce pesticide usage by 25% to 35%.

APPLICATION

Use Spread Boost with any pesticide and fertilizer application, in foliar spray, soil drench solutions, or drip irrigation in order to achieve the maximum results of application. Due to its efficiency increasing effect, it can reduce pesticide usage by 25-35%.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Spread Boost’s ingredients are derived from mod-ified trisiloxane and alkyl peg ether that function as a surfactant and as an emulsion stabilizer. These compounds work together to reduce the surface tension of oils and products alike, as well as enhance the efficacy of pesticidal and fertilizer products, allowing for enhanced surface area coverage during spraying and irrigation.

SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL INFO

If ingested, may cause stomach irritation. It is nontoxic to people and livestock, and causes no pollution to water and soil. Appropriate land management practices should be used at all times with any fungicide/pesticide; this material should be prevented from entering public or private water supplies (including wells) and any lake, stream, or river.

MODE OF ACTION

Spread Boost improves the effectiveness of foliar sprays by reducing the surface tension of the water on the surface of the spray droplet and by reducing the interfacial tension between the spray droplet and surface of the leaf. It increases the adhesion or “stickiness” of solid particles that otherwise might be easily dislodged from a leaf surface and it also reduces evaporation of the pesticide. Spread Boost also enhances the penetration ofsome pesticides through the waxy layer of cuticle on a leaf’s surface and thus increases the rate of penetration. Due to the silicon-containing components of Spread Boost, it also acts as a plant growth promoter and photosynthesis enhancer.Used as soil drenches or drip, it allows the fertilizer to reach the root zone faster. When used in drip irrigation, it improves air ventilation in the root zone and percolation of soil.
