Adjuvant for Improved Applications

Efficacy Boost is used as an adjuvant with any foliar applied fertilizer or pesticide to improve the effectiveness of the aforementioned product’s application by functioning as both a penetrating and wetting agent. This allows the product blended with Efficacy Boost to remain longer on the plant’s surface, thereby increasing fertilizer or pesticidal efficacy.

Application

Use Efficacy Boost with any pesticide and fertilizer application, in foliar spray solutions, in order to achieve the best results of application. Due to its ability to improve efficiency, it can reduce pesticide usage by 25-35%.

Active Ingredients

Efficacy Boost is comprised of two active ingredients: Bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate sodium salt and Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), Alpha-(2-propylheptyl)-omega-hydroxy. These two ingredients are specially formulated to work in conjunction with each other as a wetting agent and penetrating agent, respectively.

Safety & Environmental Info

This product is made from naturally derived ingredients and is non-toxic. It is an eco-friendly product that doesn’t leach from the soil to water tables. Appropriate land management practices should be used at all times with any pesticide; this material should be prevented from entering public or private water supplies (including wells) and any lake, stream, or river.

Mode of Action

The active ingredients in Efficacy Boost allow the products that are blended with it to remain on the plant’s surface longer, while the penetrating agent stimulates material absorption by the plant. In the case of fertilizers, it enables the nutrients to be absorbed without potential losses and in the case of pesticides, it enhances their efficacy by allowing their active ingredients to remain on the plant’s surface longer.

Directions for Use

Mix Rate

The mix rate for Efficacy Boost is 1.9 mL (3/8 tsp.) per 1 gallon of ready-to-apply liquid fertilizer, fungicide, or insecticide that should only be applied foliarly.
